Lauren Cooper is a proud Monarch alum. who cares deeply for the Louisville and Superior communities. At 16 years old, she started the Boulder Chapter of the National Charity League with her mom, Karen Cooper. Today it has over 200 members and still provides volunteers to local nonprofits in the community.
Lauren Cooper recently graduated from CU Boulder in 2021 with a B.A. in Molecular Biology. During her time at CU Boulder, she interned in Dr. Bowman's Chemical Engineering Lab for 7 months researching on photopolymers and dynamic materials with Trace Dimos. Lauren has also worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 9 months until COVID-19 pandemic became apparent in Boulder County. She was also a Teaching Assistant for Anatomy for a year. Lauren continued her passion of volunteer work throughout her college career by volunteering at Harvest for Hope and There with Care.

Lauren is currently working on applying to medical school in the Spring and just recently got a job as a Med Tech. In her free time, she loves to read, hang out with friends, learn ASL, mentor foster children through Child Advocates of Silicon Valley, and cuddle with her two kittens, Zane and Milo.
